Minerva's Mail Protect Plan utilizes a Barracuda Networks Anti-Spam Server to filter out unwanted spam and viruses, and will work whether you are a Minerva customer or not.
Each account holder has the ability to check quarantined items via a web browser to make decisions on the validity of that email. Add your own rules, allow mail that is tagged as spam and control your own Whitelist. Anti-virus updates are automatically loaded on an almost daily basis and the anti-spam filter is also updated and is continually learning. At present, less than 10% of all emails are forwarded by the Barracuda. For $1 per month per mailbox, you can direct your domain through this filter and have the legitimate e-mail only forwarded to your present mail server, thus saving you time and speeding up your mail server.
